The Alternative Worlds system

One subscription = simplicity!

"Alternative Worlds" is sold as a subscription to an externally hosted web site, which only the subscribing organisation can access. The subscriber can set the access level of any employees it wishes to allow to use the site.

As well as the software, the subscription includes maintaining the site, updating the information on it, and, if required, operating the site for the subscriber. We like to visit clients regularly to ensure that the system is up to date and continues to reflect their requirements.

Subscribers can have as much control of the site as they wish, but to simplify training and to ensure consistent usage of the site, we find that some clients prefer us to operate it for them, and to present them systematic, well-designed and well-researched exercises as and when they want them, at a very competitive cost.

Our service also includes hosting the system, an email help facility, and training.

The "Alternative Worlds" system won a Technology Strategy Board award in 2009, to allow us to develop it to provide services to Critical Information Infrastructure (CII) users. It is also currently licensed to a major oil company, and used to plan and deliver exercises affecting critical, high profile, hazardous sites around the UK.
